Wadden
The Wadden Sea empties twice a day. For a few hours the islands are connected by mud, channels and a light that changes every ten minutes. This series started as pencil sketches on the same three kilometres of coastline across four winters.
Every design uses at most five colours. I keep the horizon low, because here the sky is the subject.
